Mark Scott
Mark Scott has dedicated his career to defending the accused. A graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law on full academic scholarship, he has handled thousands of cases since 2004 and tried more than 150 jury trials, from misdemeanors to capital murder. He brings seasoned trial experience and strategic advocacy to pursue the best possible outcome for his clients.

Adam Burney
Adam Burney began his legal career in 2006, clerking for Justice Bob McCoy at the Second Court of Appeals in Fort Worth before serving as a prosecutor with the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office. As Principal Managing Partner of Panther City Law, Adam is committed to guiding clients and their families through every stage of the criminal defense process.

Matt Buckalew
Matt Buckalew is a former Tarrant County prosecutor and former Assistant Chief in a felony court who joined Panther City Law Group in 2021. He has tried more than 50 jury trials, from DWI to capital murder, and brings extensive courtroom experience to achieving strong results for his clients.

Will Gallagher
Will Gallagher has nearly a decade of criminal law experience, including five years as a prosecutor with the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office. He now defends clients facing charges ranging from misdemeanors to first-degree felonies, bringing insight from both sides of the courtroom. Will also represents clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, adoption, and CPS cases.

Travis Warner
Travis Warner is a former felony prosecutor in Parker County who brings courtroom experience and determination to every case. As an Assistant District Attorney, he handled a wide range of felony and misdemeanor matters. A graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law, Travis was raised in Weatherford and lives in Aledo with his wife and two daughters.

Francisco Javier Balderrama
Francisco Javier Balderrama is a Tarrant County native who earned his B.B.A. from Texas Wesleyan University and his law degree from Texas A&M University School of Law. He began his career at a large Texas criminal defense firm, representing clients across multiple counties in cases ranging from DWI to assault and theft. Javier also serves as an Associate Judge in Lake Worth and brings valuable courtroom insight to every case.

Eloy Gardea, Esq.
Eloy Gardea serves as Of Counsel at Panther City Law, bringing extensive expertise to the firm's crimmigration practice as founder of Gardea Law, PLLC. A licensed Texas attorney since 2014 and Columbia Law School graduate, he specializes in complex detention and removal defense for non-citizens facing the immigration consequences of law enforcement interactions. The proud son of Mexican migrants from Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Eloy's firsthand understanding of the migrant experience fuels his unwavering commitment to his clients. Fully fluent in Spanish, he connects directly with the communities he serves across Tarrant County.

Danielle Reagan
Danielle Reagan is a graduate of Texas A&M Law School. She is fiercely devoted to the practice of Family Law, and has tried hundreds of Family Law cases including complex divorces, custody, adoption, premarital agreements, termination of parental rights, protective orders, and much more. She is consistently rated Top Attorney in Family Law by Fort Worth Magazine, achieving this honor every year from 2018 through the current ratings in 2025.

Maurice Floyd
Maurice Floyd brings nearly four decades of investigative experience to the Panther City Law team. With 29 years in law enforcement followed by 10 years as a licensed private investigator, Mr. Floyd knows how cases are built — and how to challenge them. He works alongside our defense attorneys to locate and interview witnesses, review law enforcement reports, gather evidence, and identify inconsistencies that can prove critical to a client's outcome. His background on both sides of the investigative process is an asset that sets Panther City Law apart.
