Adam Burney

Adam Burney began his legal career in 2006, clerking for Justice Bob McCoy at the Second Court of Appeals in Fort Worth before serving as a prosecutor with the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office. Adam has now been in private practice for over 15 years and has tried almost every type of criminal case to a jury, from misdemeanors to murder.  As Principal Managing Partner of Panther City Law Group, Adam is committed to guiding clients and their families through every stage of the criminal defense process.


Additionally, Adam was elected as a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation in 2025.

Election to the Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation is one of the highest honors a member of the State Bar of Texas can receive.
